This dogfish was harvested off the coast of Block Island, Rhode Island. When I was in the Navy, my dive team had been flown to England on several occasions. Fish and chips are a favorite staple of the Brits, and dogfish was one of the most frequently used fish for this common staple. After making this print, I prepaired it for the fryer and it was amazing! Print measures 36" x 24" and is printed on marbled banana paper with sumi-e in and watercolor pencil.
